I Forgot My Password — What Should I Do?

A forgotten password is a self-service reset, not a support request. From the sign-in area you ask for a reset, VMExam emails a link to your registered address, and you set a new password from that link — your cloud certification account is back in your hands without anyone on the other end unlocking it for you.

Nothing about the account is lost when the password is: your attempt history and any Premium access sit untouched behind it, waiting for you to get back in. The reset only replaces the one thing you cannot recall.

How the Cloud Certification Password Reset Runs

Start at the sign-in area and choose the password-reset option, then give the email address on the account. A reCAPTCHA on that form confirms a person is asking rather than a script hammering the reset. VMExam sends a reset link to that address; open it and choose a new password, which has to satisfy the same complexity rules the signup form applied. Think of it as a plain credential rotation: the secret you lost is retired and a fresh one takes its place, the way you would rotate an access key you no longer trust rather than keep leaning on it.

Keeping Your Cloud Account Recoverable

The link travels to your registered email because that address is the thread tying the request back to you, which is why keeping it current is worth a moment’s thought before you ever need a reset. If the account is otherwise fine, a password change touches nothing else — how the account is guarded once you are back in, from the single active session onward, is covered in Is My Data Secure on VMExam?.

So a forgotten password never locks you out of VMExam for long. The sign-in area begins the reset, the emailed link finishes it, and the replacement you choose only has to be as strong as the one you first set. Everything else about your cloud certification account stays exactly where you left it.
